Well I decided yesterday that since it was such a nice day I would go for a walk along the top of the cliffs with the dog seeing as it was such a nice day- it was dry and bright and everything.  I made one fatal mistake though….I didn’t anticipate just how COLD the wind blowing off the North Sea actually was.

So I was halfway along when I realised I could no longer feel my face/ears/general head area.  I was deciding whether I should turn back or walk right along the end of the path.  I decided (stupidly) to continue onwards.

Well it felt like ages before I got home and both myself and the poor dog were frozen….in fact I’m still waiting for part of my head to thaw out now.  In fact Gypsy was not only frozen, but her belly was caked in mud….and what was the first thing she did when I let her in the house?  She jumped over the settee.

I didn’t take my camera with me- I didn’t feel I would be able to get any good shots seeing as it was dusk my the time I got back and there were some ominous looking dark clouds forming on the horizon.

All in all I have learned a very valuable lesson- wear a scarf!

I’m trying to make a point of posting several blogs a week…….not sure why though but ah well.

So what else has happened this week then?  Well I was at the doctors on Thursday and I have been given iron tablets to make me feel better and give me my old energy back (something which has been sorely missed).

Today I got my new glasses which I am very happy about because it now means I can see properly again.  Comparing them to my old ones, they don’t look that different (other than the obvious fact my old ones are blue and my current ones are purple).

Anyway I’m off for the moment….gotta go do some research for this report thing I have to hand-in on the 2nd of March.

Well I have been feeling rather terrified all day and I’m glad its almost over.  I’ve had this scary feeling that a certain someone might just turn up on my doorstep and luckily it hasn’t happened…..actually……I better not jinx it- there are just under 2 hours left of the day.

If you are wondering who the hell I’m on about, I’m reffereing to my “stalker” .

I was safe for part of the day as I was at uni but I had to come home.  Someone said “hi” to me at the train station and I thought it was him but thankfully it was a guy from uni.  Almost gave me a bloody heart attack!

So what else have I been upto?  Well I still don’t have my amazing purple glasses because the silly opticians made a wee mistake by accidentally putting the lenses in the wrong way.  Annoyingly I’ve had to cancel another driving lesson because I can’t see properly.

See I’m making a conscious effort to post more blogs- 2 in the space of 3 days (this is a new record for me!).

Anyway I did get my test results back and it turns out I don’t have enough iron in my blood so that means I have to go back to the docs but its easily sorted out!

So what else is new with me….oh yeah I’m getting new glasses soon and they have amazing purple frames.

Well I’d better get back to what I was doing- composing a large email to my team about project X….sounds mysterious doesn’t it.  Can’t say anymore about this- there could be spies from the other teams out there!

Well it’s about time I posted my first blog of the new year isn’t it?

So what’s been going on with me? Not a lot to be perfectly honest. I haven’t been feeling too fantabulous (this all started back in January when I went to give blood and was refused because my haemoglobin was too low. Got tested for that and it came back ok but the doc thought I should have more tests so right now I’m awaiting the results of those).

What else have I been upto? Well I’ve been back at uni since the 9th of January (yes I was there bright and early at 9am that particular Monday morning) and I’m still enjoying myself (and I’m getting to grips with HTML so who knows- I could jazz up my space if I can be bothered!….we’ll see…..).

I’m still learning to drive (albeit slowly but surely). I’m getting better I think…. but I did *accidentally* forget to stop at a stop sign. Anyways hopefully I’ll pass at some point this year and finally be able to drive my car!
