Good news- went for my ECG today and everything seems ok.
It was so weird having the sticky pads and cables on my wrists/chest/ankles though- felt like some weird J-E-N-O-V-A experiment though.
Turns out I must just have a lack of iron so I’m back on the tablets- woo (not).
Anyway I’m in a good (but sleepy) mood.

Gah not posted here in a wee while. Well here it goes.
Back on the 16th I was down at uni helping out. It was such a nice warm day and I think I spent the best part of it shopping (bought a Bon Jovi dvd, a Bruce Springsteen cd and dvd, plus two Sarah McLachlan albums). On the way back though, I had the train journey from hell.
First of all, I got to the station for the 16.14 GNER train. Got there just in the nick of time, only to discover that it had been cancelled. Bummer. The next train which would take me home wasn’t until 5pm so I sat and ate my Subway sandwich (by the way, those are yummy). The tiny Scotrail train which arrived was so overcrowded and it didn’t help it was a hot day. People were standing right down the aisles of the train and were also packed like sardines in the vestibules. I was in a vestibule. It got so hot and I was so squished I seriously thought I might faint. Me and this Welsh guy with a guitar helped me wedge the doors to the first class compartment open- they had air conditioning. Also this little boy stood and yapped to me and made some jokes about how crowded the train was which kept me in a good mood. The train moved so slowly and we stopped for some reason outside broughty ferry. When we got to Arbroath, the little guy I was speaking to gave me his seat in first class which was so sweet of him. Hope he wasn’t travelling alone- he couldn’t have been older than 10. I spent the rest of the journey worried I was going to get chucked out of first class- luckily, the aisles were so blocked the ticket collector couldn’t get up them so I was safe.
So a thank you to the guitar guy and the little guy for helping me out on the train.
It seems today has been the most eventful day of the week and I’m a little worried to be honest.
I went back to the docs today because I have been feeling dizzy again, been feeling really tired and my hair has been falling out again too. I was given more iron to boost my levels but next week, I have to go for an ECG. The doc thinks my heart and everything is ok but he has asked me to go get it double-checked anyway just as a precaution. I have been told not to worry and everything but I just cant help it- a heart problem caused my dad to die. I know I’m really young and everything and have been told everything should be fine but there is just a lingering what if?.
Anyways, on the good news side of things, I have booked my driving test and no, I’m not telling you when

Hey folks,
So bored right now and I know I have to go into work later.
I do have some java stuff I could be getting on with but I’m just not in the mood to do that right now. I have been reading Deception Point by Dan Brown though. I started it around Christmas time and never finished it (I think it is the weakest of Browns books) but since there was nothing else for me to read last night, I thought I’d give it a go again. Think I’m only on chapter 21 or something.
I finished reading Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince again. First time I had read it in nearly a year (yes I was one of those people who read the entire book in one day on its release date on 16th July 2005). Can’t believe there is only going to be one more book. I want to go to Hogwarts!
I think I’m going to have a look in Ottakers next week and get some books. Probably some Stephen King. I’ve only read Pet Sematery by King but it was really good. In fact at one point (despite sitting in broad daylight), I was too scared to turn the page- now thats a good book.
Anyway, I’ll top rambling on. I’ll need to go find something to do.

Hello folks,
Eep can’t believe its been over a week since I last posted in here. And what have I been upto? Not a great deal.
Anyway I had last weekend off and I have this weekend off too.
On Monday, my gran had another hip replacement but she didn’t have to spend a great deal of time in hospital this time and she got home on Friday evening. Glad she’s home.
Wednesday was a good day (as you all know). I passed my theory test 34/35 for the first part, 54/77 for the second part. I could have done better though if I had practised more I guess. I just wasn’t sure about the hazard perception and was scared of clicking to much. I also nipped into uni when I was down in Dundee to try and get my disclosure form sorted out so I could prove that I was me. Couldn’t get a hold of anyone though so that will just have to wait. Can’t afford to nip down there at the moment to get the form filled in.
On Friday, one of my great aunts came to stay with us. She is going to be looking after my great gran (the one that had the stroke). Think she is going away on Tuesday (don’t know). Friday was a really sunny day though. I spent most of it in the garden listening to music. I did have a small mis-hap though which lead to the 18 til I Die album accidentally going on full blast which was just scary. Gave me a fright! I had to go into work eventually though and we were attacked by an uber bee in the office. It was huge!
Didn’t do much yesterday apart from buy Final Fantasy: Advent Children. Thought it was about time I got the English version. Sick of watching it in Japanese.
Anyway today looks like a good day so I might go sit in the sun a bit later .
