Rocky Horror Show
Have to say the Rocky Horror show was bloody fantastic. Great music (the band were just fab and very loud), great acting and amazing singing (I couldn’t believe it was live). You could just feel the bass pounding in your chest. The guy playing Frank (David Bedella, ex-Holby City) was incredibly camp- just perfect for the role. Further note- the blonde girl out of Hearsay (Suzanne) is a really good singer which is something that surprised me. After all, Hearsay sucked. Of course the timewarp was played again at the end of the show for everyone to get up and have a dance and there was a huge standing ovation.
There weren’t a lot of people dressed up but there was a good bit of audience participation. The narrator was a Scottish guy- Andy Gray (of Rab C Nesbitt fame) who was brill as well (some numptys at the very front arrived late so he ripped the piss out of ‘em and called them stupid hehe).
The seats I got were just perfect, 9 rows from the front with a great view of the stage. Not too close and not too far away. Just a pity we couldn’t take pictures- I mean we were in a prime locaton and I could have had some great shots of the stage.
If you get the opportunity, go see this! I wanna go see it again!
Also, I left work on Thursday and I’m going to miss it- what am I going to do with myself for two weeks? It’s not the job I’m going to miss, its the people (good bit of banter at nights).
Anyways I’m off for the now.
